Dear publishers and friends, I hope this email finds you well. I am thrilled to announce that our illustrators, Da Wu, DONG Yingda, and Gui Tuzi, have been selected as the BCBF 2024 Winning Illustrators. The jury has chosen their works from a pool of 3,520 participants representing 81 countries and territories worldwide, making a total of 78 sets of illustrations by 79 artists for the 58th Illustrators Exhibition.
We are proud to represent the following titles from these talented creators.
Furthermore, I am delighted to tell you that I will be attending the Bologna book fair this April, where I will be presenting our new catalog and selections of books. If you would like to arrange a meeting, please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Da Wu, a picture book author and illustrator, known for works like The King of Trees and Bird and Statue, was born in the early 1990s. His artful storytelling and vibrant illustrations have earned international recognition, including a spot on the World’s 100 Outstanding Picture Books list by dPICTUS in 2019. His work explores the magic in everyday life and relationships, offering readers a beautiful
and insightful journey into his picture book world. His works have been translated into English, Danish, Spanish, Korean and Portuguese. More are expected in 2024 and 2025.

Dong Yingda, an illustrator, graduated from the Communication University of China (CUC) with a major in animation. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at the Lucca School of Fine Arts, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), where his research centers on the fusion of Chinese and Western visual traditions among contemporary Chinese illustrators. His portfolio encompasses a wide range of illustrations, including children’s picture
books, editorial illustrations, prints, and independent art books.Among his notable works are the published children’s picture book Crooked Head Wooden Pile and a self-published art book A Discussion about Seasons, Sketchnotes. Additionally, Dong has contributed editorial illustrations to various media outlets such as Sanlian Junior magazine, Sanlian Life Weekly, NYT for Kids China, Animals Asia, Belgian Newspaper De
Standard, and Magazine De Optimist, among others.

Gui Tuzi is an illustrator and picture book artist. Her real name is Liu Jing, and she is a member of the China Artists Association. She has collaborated with writers to create and publish several picture books, including The Snowman, Meeting the Sheep, My Daughter Is Four, and We Start Talking about Philosophy, Blue Horse and Eagle, The Big Boat,
The Story of the Horse-Head Fiddle, The White Witches Garden, and many more. She has been honored with prestigious awards.
