The Elephant and the Apple Tree (小象和苹果树), Spring's Gift (春天的礼物), The Magician from the South Pole (南极来的魔术师), and Night Song (夜晚之歌) are the titles in this series. The whimsy fairytales in the series introduce children to the violin, bass drum, trumpet, and flute and their basic knowledge, musical features, and main points of performance through a combination of multi senses (hearing, vision, and
taste) and a comprehensive way of creation (text, music, and illustrations). These are the most iconic symphonic orchestral instruments. Breaking the constraints of text, illustration, and music, this series provide a multidimensional arena for senses, unintentionally sparking children's interest in music.
In this series, music is pictorial. Images, music, and words are employed to portray a tender and loving goodnight narrative.

About the Author
Wen Aining is a children's book author and illustrator. MA in Children's Book Illustration, Cambridge School of Art, she has written and illustrated several picture books, including Fairy Song, Secrets of Traditional Chinese Musical Instruments, Goodnight Baby, and others. Her Cello Swan was also selected for the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition in 2021.

Once upon a time, there was a dense forest. Whenever the wind blew, the forest residents could hear the enchanting melodies of a gentle and beautiful song. The wise elders believed it to be the song of fairies. However, one fateful day, a raging fire suddenly erupted, consuming everything in its path and forcing the residents and animals to flee for their lives. Once the fire was finally extinguished, to the astonishment of all, the magical song returned. It emanated from
a magnificent glowing tree, nestled in a secluded corner of the forest, where seven mystical elves resided. It became evident that the mystical forest was always protected, even in the face of adversity.

The first snow of the year had arrived! Ai and her dog dashed into a quaint little forest, as her grandpa had once told her that magical things would occur there when the first snowfall arrived. Excitement filled her heart as she ventured deeper into the forest, following the enchanting melody of a captivating song. To her amazement, Ai discovered a graceful deer and encountered a band of mysterious animals. Without hesitation, Ai joined their musical ensemble, and their
harmonious tunes resonated, echoing throughout the forest. In this moment, Ai realized that every child's dreams and boundless imagination pave the way for their extraordinary growth.
