About the Author

Zhenzhen, also known as Zhang Fangyuan, hailing from Shandong. A distinguished alumna of Hong Kong Baptist University, she holds a master's degree in Religion and Philosophy. Zhenzhen's creative prowess shines through as a writer and poet. Her exceptional talent earned her the prestigious accolade of being one of the Top 10 Poets in the post-90s generation, as recognized by Chinese Poetry, a publication by People's Literature Publishing House in 2011. In 2018, her literary masterpiece "YouYaoJing" graced the shelves. Zhenzhen's portfolio boasts over 300 published works spanning poetry, prose, novels, and fairy tales. Her compositions delve into the realm of Eastern imagination, with time and choice serving as recurring themes. Through her writing, Zhenzhen vividly portrays the interplay between individuals and uncontrollable forces. A voracious reader and keen observer, she calls Beijing home, where she shares her abode with a beloved feline companion. Immersed in the world of literature and translation, Zhenzhen continues to enchant readers with her captivating creations.

About the Illustrator

Chuichui, known in real life as Qin Yue, originating from Nanning, Guangxi. Holding a Master of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Art from the esteemed Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Chuichui's artistic journey has been truly remarkable. Having previously served as an art instructor in an elementary school, she has now wholeheartedly dedicated herself to the realm of picture book creation, continuously experimenting with various drawing styles. A passionate feline enthusiast, Chuichui finds solace in the company of cats. Additionally, she nurtures a deep love for travel, capturing the essence of fascinating people and intriguing encounters along her journeys. From a slumbering grocery store owner on a lazy summer day to swift beachcombers, Chuichui astutely records these captivating moments. Employing watercolors, she weaves dreams for others, embarking on a captivating exploration of an enchanting realm. Chuichui's artistic endeavors promise to transport you to a world brimming with wonder and imagination.
