About the Authors ___ Can Ran is a children's book author, founder of the "Three Five Hoe" family-style kindergarten and the "Brave Reader" parent-child reading promotion program. He is also listed as one of the top ten influential cultural microbloggers of 2016 on Sina Weibo. Can Ran has
published several works, including the fairy tale "Mom Bodhisattva Child Buddha", parent-child reading notes "Throwing Anchors to the Distance", parent-child reading tool book "Riding the Whale's Journey" (1, 2), parent-child parenting reading "Three Five Hoe Stories: Growing Up with You in Kindergarten", and several novels.
___ Ma Daishu is an illustrator and picture book author from Chengdu, Sichuan. She lived in the UK for many years and graduated from the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London with a master's degree in design. Ma Daishu has created covers and illustrations
for various Chinese and English magazines and literary books, and won first place in the book cover design competition held by Penguin China. In 2014, she published her first picture book "Tree Leaves", two of which were awarded the 8th Cheltenham Illustration Award in the same year. She currently lives in Barcelona, Spain.
