Chen Chen, born in Heilongjiang in 1982, graduated from Renmin University of China and the E’cole d’Animation de Valence-La poudrière. In 2010, his animation work "Eyes in a Cage" was selected for animation festivals such as Annecy in France, Hiroshima in Japan and Zagreb in Croatia. In 2016, another animation work "Old Bear" won the Best Animated Short Film Award at the Lisbon International Film Festival, the first prize at the Italian Visual Film Festival and the Visual Effects Conference and other honors. In 2018, he planned to hold the 7th Independent Animation Forum "Metaphors of Deformation". In 2019, as one of the initiators, he founded "Finage Beijing Animation Week".
