About the book A panda invents 100 ways to meet its companions across a valley, such as build a bridge with an elephant's trunk, fly over on the back of a goose, blow a big bubble and float over together, upload and download itself as a network file from one end to the other and among others.
It is a whimsical way to break the inertia, invite readers to play in their imagination and create something different in their play.
Editors’ notes: In 100 Ways to Cross the Valley, conventional methods can help children understand the world, whereas imaginative and abstract methods foster creative and design thinking in children.
Children can learn to identify and establish reasonable solutions through the use of creative picture books that are interactive and imaginative.
The two versions have distinct characteristics; the poetic version is full of artistic ideas, while the concise version is lively and lovely.

Chi Peng, Ph.D. in Design Education, is a researcher who studies children's thinking processes and creative thinking. For a long time, he taught creative thinking methods, contemporary art creation methods, photography art, and other courses at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is now involved in children's education, picture book creation, screenwriting, and contemporary art creation and research.

The 2022 Frankfurt Book Fair will be held in October, providing an exciting opportunity to meet you in person. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covids cases and international flight regulations in China, I have decided not to attend this year and will conduct all meetings online, via Zoom or Google Meets.
