Two cats, Liangliang and Mimi, were brought together by fate but were separated when one of them moved away. They thought they would never meet again, but life had other plans and brought them back together! However, they didn't meet in person; instead, they reconnected through letters. One lives in the city, and the other in the countryside. Through a series of letters, they share with each other the joys and troubles of their lives.

About the Author & Illustrator
|
Yan Zhihao: Ph.D. from the Institute of Children's Literature at Taitung University, currently a full-time writer. He started writing stories to feed the child within him who never grew up. Now, he is creating a world full of imagination and wonder. His works include A Silly Goose Selling Fragrant Farts, Magic Wall Jump Vol. 1: The First Battle of Fenghe Island, The Chameleon That Doesn't Eat Greens, among
others.

Cui Lijun: Born and educated in Taipei, she has a deep love for nature, mountains, and the sea. With over 20 years of experience as a freelance illustrator, she has created illustrations for numerous children's literature works and educational materials for young readers. Her picture books include Who’s Knocking at the Door, Uncle Mountain’s Afternoon Tea, and The Spring Picnic, among others. Her book
Who’s Knocking at the Door was awarded the Hsin Yi Children's Literature Award in Taiwan.

Black Moon and White Moon are twin siblings. Black Moon is dark and quiet, while White Moon shines brightly and proudly. Black Moon often feels overshadowed and wishes he could shine like his brother.
One night, a mysterious firework lights up the sky, and Black Moon, wanting to show that he too can be beautiful, decides to go down to Earth and find it. On his adventure, Black Moon discovers that without his presence in the sky, only the full moon phase remains, causing confusion for many animals and nature. Realizing that he plays an important role just as he is, Black Moon chooses to return to his place in the sky, understanding that his quiet glow is
just as special.

Li Ruoxin graduated from the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at National Taiwan University and later went to the UK to study art. She received her Master's degree in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art in 2015. She enjoys singing, dancing, reading, and creating beautiful books. Currently, she works as an illustrator and picture book author. Her published works include Little Ban and Stilla
Family, with Stilla Family being selected for the 2017 New York Public Library's "100 Best Books for Kids" list.

Long ago, in a small village, there stood an old banyan tree. The banyan tree provided shade for the villagers, and they lived happily together, until one day, the old banyan tree died. Its leaves turned into golden leaves, which were quickly snatched up by the villagers.
A poor boy didn't manage to get any leaves, but the old banyan tree left him three seeds, asking him to help find its homeland, and promised that these three seeds would assist him on his journey. The boy set out with the seeds, facing many hardships and experiencing the warmth and coldness of the world. Will he be able to find it in the end?

Guo Feifei Born and raised in Taiwan, she loves raising hamsters, rambling, and has a fondness for autumn, penguins, and the UK. She often doubts her drawing skills and firmly believes she is not one of the best, but she continues to strive in her art. She is the author of picture books I Can Fly and Everyone Can Draw. I Can Fly was shortlisted for the 2019 UK Klaus Flugge Prize.
